Buwalo Matalikalo Trust is an Organization founded in 2014 and is legally registered.The organisation seeks to address the challenges facing young people and offer a no voice and facilitate spaces for them to get redress. The trust seeks to engage with gatekeepers who are sometimes lost on how best to engage with young people and address some of the issues that are key in driving the spread of HIV amongst the young people.
- Sensitising communities on the negative effects of SGBV.
- Raising awareness of children’s rights, domestic violence and moral decadency.
- Increase the levels of awareness on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.
BMT’s thrust is to develop the capacities and social responsibility of young people, women and the communities they live in as a way of enhancing the fight against drug abuse, HIV and AIDS, S&GBV, SRH&R, stigma and discrimination of the persons living with disablities.
